Every Part of You Tempts Me by Megan Hart
Confused characters? Megan Hart’s main character in this short story – Elliott appears to be fighting with his own desires as much as anything else. Elliott recently has been finding teases – those who say they want something like spanking but when its given freak out. He decides to not take the risk anymore and simply deny his own desires and not reach for a masochist to counter is sadist.
Simone is someone who desires a little pain with her pleasure – has been known to let her inner masochist come out to play. Though we don’t get to know her very well she appears to have been a bottom to someone in the S/m portion of society.
The moral of the tale seems to be don’t give up – you never know when you will find someone to give you your every desire. I think the story is long winded for what it is – essentially one scene that if rewritten could be really good. As it is… well I wasn’t really a fan. I think the idea of not giving up – love or a play partner in this case could be right around the corner is great and could really be played up. Right now this story is a rambling, long winded short story about possibilities and not giving up – good moral but poorly executed.
Note – don’t give up on the author for one poor review. The author has a number of great stories out.
