Long Hard Ride by Lorelei James

Yowzers! Can I find me a cowboy???? I must have been hiding under a rock the last few years to have completely missed this incredible series by Lorelei James.  The scenes are steamy, the cowboys dreamy with characters and setting written well enough you can walk into the pages.

Colby is a rodeo cowboy trying to avoid growing up, having to give up his bad boy days and going home a little bit longer when he meets Channing and offers her a chance to travel the circuit with him and his friends.   Channing too is escaping her life and family’s expectations for the summer before going home to be a school teacher – she wants a chance to experience life before she has to live the mundane boring life laid out for her.

Oh, and I’m not kidding about the cowboy… Lorelei can you find me one to play with like these three do for Channing. Please note that if you are squeamish about any kind of sex you should probably avoid this series because there is MM, MFMM, and MFM – written so well the steam might just cause your skin to burn.

The reader for this Audible edition of this book is incredible. She has the sweet way of laying out the words as if it were someone literally telling you the story of their fantasies.  I will definitely be looking for more by this author and reader.
