Dee Henderson is a favorite author when I need a retreat into the Christian romantic suspense world. I return to her books over and over again. Dee Henderson’s writing draws you into that world – I am pretty sure I have read every one of her novels – discovering them first in paperback before I knew Audible existed.

Dee’s novels tend to be connected, at least eventually. Personally, I love this because you can really get invested in a world that builds with each page, chapter, character and book. Her military series “Uncommon Heroes” was my introduction to her style of writing. Her worlds are well researched, her characters well developed and her relationships very believable. Every book I have read since of hers I return to, sometimes immediately, sometimes in a few months – you can rely on the fact that I return to her books every year.

The latest novel out by this wonderful author is “Taken”, see excerpt linked. This is one of my favorites of her novels since the change in her style of writing from the O’Malley series. Dee’s books will always be a top recommend in my library to readers interested in quality Christian novels, especially romantic suspense.

I challenge any Christian romance fan to give this author’s novels a chance. It will amaze me if you can stop at one.
