Jedidiah’s Bride by Rebecca Kertz

Jedidiah’s Bride by Rebecca Kertz

Jedidiah’s Bride is a sweet love story set among the Amish.  Jed is a hardworking man, Sarah is the caregiver of her sick mother and younger siblings.  A love that was meant to be – God put them together in the right place right time. Stories like this when they are not fiction prove that there are few coincidences – God causes those Godincidences.

Jed bumps into Sarah at the local market in Dover, Delaware where Sarah lives when she is there with her younger brothers to sell baked goods.  Jed is there to sell plants and woodcraft projects he has made.  He saves her brothers when they are nearly hurt at the market.  He returns to Lancaster County thinking they will not run into each other again, but when her sick mother has to have surgery Sarah and her brothers are sent to visit family in the same community as Jed.  After a couple of months together and love blossoms and they commit to finding a way to be together.

Sweet story. Very tame tale, even compared to most Love Inspired novels.
