Nova and Quinton: No Regrets by Jessica Sorenson
The writing style of this story drives me a little nuts. Constant changing point of view, developed characters but rambling style is confusing at very least. I think this author could be a good one but just not this book for my cup of tea. Changing points of view is not necessarily a bad thing and there is a break in the page telling you about the change. It may be that this is an issue due to the main characters being recovering drug addicts – maybe that is the case but I will say I’m not a fan of this novel. It isn’t an objection to the characters – in fact I think they could be very interesting, my issue is more the writing style. It is very rambling, immensely confusing. I have started, paused and restarted this several times hoping it would get easier.
